We were told to start recruiting our friends and family members as well as anyone else with whom we came into contact. We didn't feel comfortable with that. It made us feel like sales people, which we're not.

The last straw was when our sponsor wouldn't quit trying to convince us it was a good idea to hand over to him our list of three hundred names.

Three months after we joined, we quit. The upline pressure to share our list of 100 friends and family was too much and we finally recieved the P&P's in the mail. That was a not a fun read.

We nearly gave up on the whole MLM/Network Marketing concept. It just wasn't fun anymore. We had better things to do than to waste our time and money!

But how else were we going to achieve financial freedom? Network marketing is absolutely the only way for the average person to do that and there just HAD to be an answer for us out there somewhere!

We started searching the internet for information on how to do MLM/Network Marketing without bothering our friends and family. And truthfully we were starting to lose hope. The sheer volume of opinions and techniques were quite overwhelming, making our heads spin!

Chapter two of our story begins when we came across the profile of an ordinary-looking gentleman online whose free report was an offer we couldn't refuse to download. Although we downloaded it, we didn't read it. In fact, quite honestly, we totally forgot about it as we continued to surf the net for an answer.

A day went by and we still hadn't found anything. But then something happened that completely changed our lives, something so shocking and amazing that it's still difficult for us to believe.

The phone rang. Rob picked it up and said, "Hello?"

"Hi, may I speak with Rob or Rayvin Nyte please?" said the voice on the other end.

The voice sounded very pleasant and had a slow and hypnotic Southern drawl to it, quite soothing to listen to really.

"Rob here, how may I help you?"

"Well, Rob, I'm calling because you were at my website yesterday and downloaded my free report. It was titled, 'The Top Ten Mistakes Most Network Marketers Make.' I was wanting to make sure you got that downloaded okay and to see if you had any questions about anything you read there."

We were SHOCKED! Somebody actually called us back! We downloaded lots of free e-books and free reports before but this was the first time anybody ever actually called us.

This gentleman actually LISTENED to us as we told him our story of MLM failure. He seemed to really and genuinely want to help. He shared how he'd also been failing and almost quit the whole network marketing industry, too. And we asked what made him change his mind and stay.

We listened closely to what he had to tell us and as soon as we found his free report again we read it -- and eagerly this time. Our fire was now burning stronger than ever thanks to our new mentor and his free report. It cost us nothing and it put us on the right road.

We had no idea how little we thought we really knew we didn't know until we met this kind Southern American gentleman from Mississippi. Nowdays, he's teaching us to teach others to teach. That's what it's all about. Network marketing isn't about sales. It's about teaching and coaching others to success. It's about sharing what you've learned with likeminded people. It's about mentoring with a servant's heart.
